DROMI Reaches Out To Widows Of Fallen Heroes, Others In Akure.

DROMI REACHES OUT TO WIDOWS OF FALLEN HEROES, OTHERS IN AKURE.
Hon. Abiola Makinde and Dr. Rhoda Makinde Initiative (HAMDROMI) visited Akure with the #LetTheWidowSmile project where the bereaved widows of some soldiers who died while defending the territorial integrity of the country and other widows in Akure were gathered to receive some packed food items and clothing materials.
The donations were made by the CEO/Founder, Dr. Rhoda Makinde with the support of her husband Hon. Abiola Makinde representing the good people of Ondo East and West Federal Constituency.
Dr. Rhoda Makinde in her opening remarks at the occasion through one of the representatives, said one of the objectives of this initiative is to further cement DROMI's service to humanity,” adding that “it is in line with the mission of the organization to provide succour to the poor and the needy in the barrack communities and the society at large.
She further stated “I would like to extend my greetings to all the widows in Akure and my heartfelt condolences to the widows and families of our fallen heroes, may their souls continue to rest in peace,” Dr. Rhoda Makinde said.
She admonished the widows of the fallen soldiers and other widows present to know that the duo of HAMDROMI is still very much active in the business of meeting people's need and reaching out to the core downtrodden in the community.
