PHOTOGRAPHY GOES TO CHURCH
WHY DO WOMEN/LADIES WASTE MUCH TIME IN FRONT OF THEIR MIRROR?
Everybody will agree with me that most women, if not all, are fond of spending so much time before their mirror anytime they are dressing up to go out. Most especially the 'Slay Queen Geng', set awon 'Dress to Kill' ati 'Dress to Oppress'...
Some Women will even spend hours in the bathroom, that's for another day.
Anytime I have a date or hangout with a lady, I always fix at least GMT-2. Because, time unconsciousness and our ladies' african time. If you are going out with your partner, there is no way you won't be late if you don't give your partner at least 2 hours ahead of time.
For example, if the outing is 12pm, you tell her 10am.
That's the logic.
Most ladies dress up so well, just to take pictures. They 'dress to kill' in order to have beautiful shots only, not that they are really interested in the outing/date, they only want to take pictures to fill their gallery. They want to pepper everybody with beautiful pictures on their WhatsApp status and Facebook stories looking like chain and beads..
Funnily enough, I have seen some ladies with no business outside, they will just dress up, do a makeup and move out to one cool bar, hangout spot just to take pictures, orisirisi Snapchat filters just for the gram.
I could remember during the total lockdown in Lagos, no where to go. I know some of my female friends that will just dress up, do makeup and go outside their gate to take pictures. After the pictures, they will go inside and pull off the clothes. Funny, yeah?
Some ladies has their slaying days on Sundays, even the guys sef are not "calming down" on Sundays. Most people are always out to take pictures after the service to showcase their "slaying for Jesus" outfits, makeup, etc.. It is always a good thing to behold because God creating us in His own image to look beautiful just like Him shows that He is the first Photographer in heaven and earth. Everybody is beautiful as said in the scriptures... "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good........"
This is the major drive behind the teaming up of HAMDROMI: Hon. Abiola Makinde & Dr. Rhoda Makinde Initiative with Fotospirit Studios as we bring Photography to churches to put in some professional touches and to capture the beauties created by God and to remind us that we are all beautifully, fearfully and wonderfully made.
The team will be visiting churches in Ondo State to give free photo sessions to people as to recreate the beauty in images to defeat low self esteem battling individuals about the way they look.
You are beautiful, I'm beautiful, we are all beautiful. Let's carry our beauty with pride!
